In early November, the UNDP held a consultation in Port-of-Spain with judges and members of the judiciary from the across the Caribbean.   This one-day event focused on identifying areas of strength and weaknesses in judicial systems across the region in order to inform the data collection and fieldwork for a Regional Judicial Needs Assessment Exercise. The UNDP Regional Hub in Panama is leading the development of the Needs Assessment Report which will cover Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Guyana, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago. This important and timely event helped to highlight opportunities for regional collaboration and support in improving the administration of justice across the Caribbean.
