Leaving No One Behind

Sustainable human development is at the heart of all of UNDP’s work. We recognise that strategies and policies for eradicating poverty and achieving socio-economic growth must be inclusive.  Equity, social inclusion, women's empowerment, and respect for human rights matter for poverty reduction and support the UN principles of Leaving No One Behind and Reaching the Furthest Behind First.

Supporting National Development

In support of national commitments to eradicating poverty and achieving the Millennium Development Goals, UNDP collaborates with governments, civil society organisations and the private sector to advance these goals. We do this by providing support to strengthen policies, data, information and digital capacity, the restructuring of social safety-net programmes and through a range of poverty-related programmes and initiatives.
